Vintage Matrimony

Due to the theme of Michelle and Ben's wedding, some of the photos took really well to a vintage treatment (seen below). They made all of their costumes - aren't they impressive??

Here are a few early favorites before Michelle and Ben's wedding began. Isn't she lovely? The bride and groom participate in Amtgard, so their wedding took on a medieval theme complete with harpist, sword fighters and feathered hats!

Art

I want to make art. If my photography is routine and static, is it still art?

I want to do something different, but everything has been done under the sun, hasn't it?

I want to make art people want to hang on their walls. I want them to like it in 20 years. and 30. and 40. and 100.

I want to capture art. I want to see things differently. I want to make ugly beautiful and I want to make beautiful interesting.

shhh...don't tell...

I can't tell you what I've been working on this week....it's a secret :) Let's just say it's a very fun, long term secret project...Yay for creative clients!!!

What I CAN tell you is that I am now officially an aunt for the first time! My sister-in-law Kate had her first baby (a beautiful little girlie), a sweet little 7 pounder... Pictures of the babe will be coming in August!
